Listening to radio this morning, and the host asked what's the funniest TV show ever. He liked Gilligan's Island which I would say falls under silliest ever. People were emailing in their choices and The Carol Burnett Show got two votes which I remember laughing at because the actors were always cracking up at each other. It happened more on that show than any others and made it look like they had the greatest job in the world....getting paid to laugh. Johnny Carson was mentioned and I remember him getting so tickled at his guests and his great laugh. Think how hilarious some of the scenes were on I Love Lucy. How did they get through a taping without losing it?

I Love Lucy and The Carol Burnett show. They still make me laugh
Barney Fife has to have been the funniest characters ever on TV. And The Carol Burnett Show was always hilarious, too! I think one of the most cleverly written comedies of all times, though, was M*A*S*H...loved it, and love the reruns!
Hi Holley:) all of those are great shows...my favorite Carol Burnett HAS to be the one where she spoofed "gone with the wind"...those CURTAINS!!! with the RODS!!! still cracks me up when i think about it:)
I can watch Frasier and Raymond and they still make me laugh but I loved Red Skelton, watched it with my grandmother and can still hear that tinkling laugh of hers at Klem Kadiddlehopper's antics. Leave it To Beaver and Cheers...such great shows...loved the post! Sandi
