The Gardening Bug

Even though it's way too hot, many people get bit by the gardening bug right about now. It must be all those colorful hanging baskets at the big box stores that draws them in.
It's always a good idea to have a plan, though, so you get the best out of your garden.
Planting on an axis gives good views and walkways from the house through the garden. It keeps things neat and tidy, too. Very classic.
When the work is all done, you can sit back on your porch with a glass of iced tea and admire your handywork.

It is a good feeling to sit back and admire all that has been accomplished when it is finally finished. But when it is hot like it is now...I would much rather sit in the shade, with my glass of tea and admire the handyman's efforts in the garden. Sure wish I had a handyman.............

The only problem with these are when you get them done the only thing you're gonna sit back and relax in is your coffin!
Looks good...but I need more help than Mac, lol!

Wow! Your drawings are fantastic.
I just am happy if I get my little container gardens watered!

Tonja-I can't take credit for the plans, they are antique drawings I found and fell in love with.
Maybe Santa will bring all of us a handyman for Christmas.
