Leftover Peeps

The Washington Post held it's second annual Peeps Show and received more than 800 entries. Everything from Sesame Street to No Country For Old Men were represented in dioramas peopled with Peeps. My favorite was a Project Runway take-off featuring a Peep wearing a ruffled dress made of muffin cups. The winner, Laura Sillers, found out about the contest 48 hours before the Sunday deadline. She only had to buy Peeps because she already had all the craft items she needed to build an Egyptian themed diarama. Even the hieroglyphics on the walls have images of Peeps. Check out the photo gallery showing the best peeps entries.

I love this...I remember when I could eat peeps...now I hear from my Evil Sister that her cat Graycie has learned to love them...a cat eating marshmallows. It doesn't bear thinking about! Hope your Easter was splendid!!!

I loved reading about this contest and seeing the entries. How cool! Isn't it funny how people will work so hard on a silly little project like this? I guess it just makes you feel good to see it. Thanks for sharing!

I crown your peeps the winner...what do those other judges know? They're all Paula Abdul, I'm Simon Cowell!
